The discussion group involving the book “Daring Greatly” has been eye opening for not only the inmates at Dorchester Minimum, but also for the counselling group. It is important and also refreshing to have real discussions with people dealing with so many different aspects of life. This book has made everyone in the group learn to respect, listen and challenge themselves in ways most of us disregard because we are so guarded in our current situation. It made us challenge and accept our vulnerability, which I my opinion is one of the most important things any of us (not just inmates) should do. I truly appreciate what this program has offered and the impact has had on my life.
